I'm a Computer Science PhD candidate at the Kahlert School of Computing at the University of Utah. I work at the Scientific Computing and Imaging Institue (SCI) with Dr. Paul Rosen. Currently, I'm investigating how people annotate different charts to effectively communicate information. Additionally, I am developing a peer review dashboard designed to improve review quality through behavioral nudges.
My research lies at the intersection of Visualization (VIS) and Human–Computer Interaction (HCI). I study how people create and use visualizations in practice, and I translate these insights into frameworks and tools that are grounded in empirical study and informed by user-centered design. Embedded within authoring workflows, these frameworks and tools aim to reduce effort, improve consistency, expand expressive power, and directly support how people analyze, communicate, and make data-driven decisions.

I am currently on the job market, seeking postdoctoral, faculty, and research positions in academia and industry
